As environmental issues become more prominent, the word “plastic” is increasingly heard in various contexts. While the trend of “going plastic-free” is spreading, how well do we truly understand plastic and its impact on the environment?

In response to these challenges, CTE, in collaboration with Zenken Corporation, has launched a media platform called “Plamirai.” This platform is dedicated to exploring the future of plastic and providing information on efforts toward building a sustainable plastic society.

“Plamirai” delves into how plastic can coexist with environmental movements like the push to go plastic-free and the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Through topics such as “material and chemical recycling” and “biomass plastic,” we reexamine the role of plastic and share insights that contribute to the future of plastic and the realization of a sustainable plastic future.
